5 Assertive Behaviors to Stand For Your Rights

1- We have the right to ask for an explanation when things we are told are not clear or disagrees with our moral principles.

2- We have the right to ask for help or emotional support without feeling shame regardless of what others might think of us.

3- We have the right to say “no”, we can and must deny a petition if it makes us feel uncomfortable.

4- We have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, not letting anyone make us feel less because of our religious beliefs, ideals, gender or race.

5- We have the right to change something that does not satisfy us, thinking about yourself first instead of others.
